Malaria Case Surveillance and Intervention Data – Tanzania (2024)

Overview

This dataset presents malaria case surveillance and intervention data collected by the Ifakara Health Institute (IHI) in collaboration with the National Malaria Control Programme (NMCP) across selected health facilities in Tanzania for the year 2024.

It contains aggregated health facility–level information on: - Reported malaria cases (confirmed and suspected) - Rapid diagnostic test (RDT) usage - Insecticide-treated net (ITN) distribution - Indoor residual spraying (IRS) coverage - Population under surveillance

Purpose

The dataset aims to support the monitoring and evaluation of malaria burden, transmission trends, and the effectiveness of intervention programs in Tanzania.
