Malaria Facilities Geospatial Data (Demo)
This resource provides a geospatial representation of malaria-reporting health facilities in Tanzania as part of the IHI Malaria Surveillance demonstration dataset. The data are formatted in GeoJSON, making them suitable for visualization through CKAN’s map preview extensions such as ckanext-geoview. Each feature in the dataset represents a health facility’s geographic location, along with selected attributes such as the facility’s name, administrative region, and the number of confirmed malaria cases.
This spatial data allows users to explore malaria patterns geographically and better understand the distribution of reporting health facilities across the country. The dataset has been developed purely for demonstration and testing purposes and does not contain real geographical coordinates or sensitive information.
