Malaria Facilities Geospatial Data (Demo)
This dataset contains aggregated malaria surveillance and intervention data collected from selected health facilities across Tanzania during the year 2024. It forms part of IHI’s Malaria Surveillance Project, designed to support monitoring and evaluation of malaria burden and intervention coverage. Each record represents a single health facility and includes details such as the number of confirmed and suspected malaria cases, rapid diagnostic tests (RDT) conducted, insecticide-treated nets (ITNs) distributed, indoor residual spraying (IRS) coverage, and the population under surveillance.
The dataset is structured to support facility-level analysis and enable epidemiological assessments, geographical trend mapping, and health program evaluations. All data have been cleaned, de-identified, and aggregated to ensure privacy and usability. This is a demonstration dataset created for testing CKAN functionality and does not reflect actual IHI operational data.
